| More Information: Allen (Private 426040) enlisted in the Canadian Infantry, 28th Battalion, he was 5' 9" tall, fair complexion, blue eyes and light brown hair. He was hit by shrapnel, stretcher-bearers brought him out of the trenches immediately he was hit, but he died before reaching the dressing station. |
